To bake a mug cake in less than 10 minutes, you need the following ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of melted butter

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (you can increase or reduce your measurement depending on your taste)

  • ½ tablespoon or 5 drops of vanilla essence (vanilla flavour can serve as a substitute for vanilla essence)

  • 3 tablespoons of warm liquid milk

  • 3-4 tablespoons of flour

  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder

  • Chocolate cookies, chips, or sprinkles (optional)

PS: These are measurements for one large mug

If you don’t have a microwave, you could try this alternative method. However, it would take longer than 10 minutes.

After mixing your ingredients, cover your mug with foil properly. Then place it in a pan or pot of boiling water. The water level should be at most half of the mug.

Cover the pot or pan and allow it to cook for 10 mins.

Your yummy mug cake is ready to eat.
